Dang it, how do you do this? How do you always make me convinced that you're writing the "real" canon, not what's on the actual show? How have you managed to make me actually like this bit of Jack/Kate interaction after having seen it forced into so many nauseating 'shipper and obstreperous Jack- or Kate-fangirling contexts that the mere thought of it normally makes my eyes bleed? I think the universe has a right to know.
