Normally, fluff kind of makes me cringe, and the characters are gross and weak and GAH, you know? But yours is perfection. Just because it's real, and it's sad and beautiful and fabulous all at the same time. (oh and btw, I'm like you-- and I can't write fluff, without a little bit of angst).
And I love the way you tackle Cristina, I know some people that just ruin her sometimes or make her a bitch or unnecessarily rude or whatever, and she's perfect with yours and (like in your other one) the Owen is handled wonderfully- some people just DESTROY him. You keep him simple. That "okay." is perfect. Because I don't see him giving this big speech about how he's there for her.
Oh and normally I wouldn't touch Mark/Lexie with a bargepole, just I don't like them. But you write them in a way that doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. And tbh, for me just to temporarily accept them for the duration of the fic, is a big deal. So well done you. ^_^ haha. I'm having to write them now, for my ensemble-fic, and it's difficult.
So yeah, curse you and your stunning fic. But I love it, so I'm all for it. ^_^ Keep writing! Can't wait for your next one. (And I apologise for the long review).
Oh and your Alex = Love. I mean, it's not necessarily the idea that he was the one that gave her the bunny that does it for me, it's the execution. It's always amazing. I love it. Argh. So *so* good.
