They didn't really go there with them, you're right, which I think is a symptom of having a crapload of characters. But, really, I'm not sure they went there to my satisfaction with anyone.
I'm pretty much totally against April/Alex (I'm not a big April fan at all, I just happen to be writing her, lol) so I feel you on that.
