I so read those as euphemisms. Ahem. But, god, yes, early Sarah was the best. She had emotions but she could actually control them and she was all hard-edged (in a fascinating way) and just completely kickass. Ugh. Sometimes I watch my S1-2 DVDs and weep for what could have been.
