I keep planning on having really long GA fic for ya'll, I really do, it's just not happening. I am stuck. Hopefully, with any sort of luck (not that I have any as of late) I'll have it up this weekend. And hopefully it will be worth it.

I'm thinking of doing a music post tomorrow, if the fic decides not to cooperate, although that really depends on what's going on with my life (which, let me tell you, is not my nice, normal, life right now, and so I'm not being the greatest friend to you all and for that I'm sorry).
Also, can the Spears family be neutered? kthnx
I don't think there was anything else, though if I happen to spam ya'll later (and I tend to do that when I initially think there's nothing left to say) I apologize.

Date: 2007-12-19 08:38 pm (UTC)I think I vaguely heard something about how it was fixed for ED to win, but I didn't really hear anything beyond that and I didn't look into it. What happened?
OMG, you have a Jessica mood theme. That's so cute!

Date: 2007-12-19 08:44 pm (UTC)It was fixed. The DR people had been talking people into doing it. Then there were the comps that were also fixed. In the one with the teacups to be filled the way that the thing was slanted meant that all the butter stuff went into Eric and Danielle's lanes, whereas Zach and Dick got off easily. Then, it's speculated that in the final three HOH that Dick won Dick could see Zach's answers which is why he won. That's not even the half of it.
Actually it's a Jess/Eric mood theme.

Date: 2007-12-19 08:53 pm (UTC)Ah! I just saw the Jess pic on your last entry. She totally annoyed me at first, but she really grew on me! I liked Eric from the start.

Date: 2007-12-19 09:08 pm (UTC)Amber and Zach are two seperate issues. I'm not a fan of either.
I used to watch TAR though haven't recently, except for one ep this season. However that may chance since there's a good chance Jess/Eric will be on it next season.
She annoyed me the first few weeks but then I saw her on livefeeds and just loved her. She was a victim of bad editing in the first few weeks. Eric was the one I thought would win when I first saw him. He and Dustin were my favs initially.

Date: 2007-12-19 09:14 pm (UTC)But I still thought ED came off as a giant ass on tv. /shudder And Daniele came off as a spoiled whiner. Ug!
I used to watch TAR too, but after the family one, I got bored. I tried to watch All Stars, but it was boring too! I even watched the one where BB Alyson berated her boyfriend the whole time. Good times. I'm trying to watch this season because I kinda partially know Kynt and Vyxsin. But, still, it bores me.
Jess's voice and the editing for her to be a ditz annoyed me. But she grew on me. :)

Date: 2007-12-19 09:26 pm (UTC)You know with ED it depends. He was either really loved or really hated. As for Danielle, I have her friended here on LJ actually, and I also kind of think she is victim of circumstances, those being that her father is an ass.
I didn't like Allison at all, not on BB or TAR. Kynt and Vyxsin were the pink haired kind of goth-ish ones right?
Yeah, Jess definitely grows on you. I just got really invested in her and Eric.

Date: 2007-12-19 09:29 pm (UTC)I will concede that Danielle is still really young, hence the whiny, spoiled thing, but I still didn't care for her at ALL.
Yeah, I wasn't an Alyson fan at all, but she was semi entertaining to watch.

She was good tv, for how stupid she (Allison) was.

Date: 2007-12-19 11:10 pm (UTC)I can never understand why people still get pregnant that young. After being told since we were 12 about Birth control you'd think some of it would sink in. But I have to remind myself that nothing is 100% effective except not having sex so it could happen reguardless.
And then there is my sister who actually made a point of getting pregnant when she was 18.

Date: 2007-12-19 11:12 pm (UTC)I don't get it either. Also, since he's 19, doesn't that count as statutory rape?
I don't understand people who get pregnant that young.

Date: 2007-12-19 11:19 pm (UTC)I believe so. But obviously its consentiual and none of the parentals are making a big deal of it. What we are trying to figure out is 1) Why would Mama Spears allow her daughter to date someone that much older then her at this point and 2) how long is 'long term' mean in this situation?
My mother was 21 when she had me (turned 22 about a month later) so she is the same age I am right now. I figure that's probably the youngest someone really should be to actually consider having children. So I will never understand my sister (who is pregnant with her second right now. She's 11 months younger then me).

Date: 2007-12-20 02:40 am (UTC)1) Because she is an idiot, 2) not very.
I understand early 20's. I don't understand someone who is still a teenager. It just doesn't click with me. Maybe it's because I never want to have kids myself but I just don't get it at all.

Date: 2007-12-20 02:43 am (UTC)1) Sounds like it. 2) See, long term to me means more then a couple of years. Perhaps 3 or 4+. I half wonder if they are using the term long-term to make it seem more acceptable that a 16 year old is pregnant.
I wouldn't mind kids, I just don't see myself having them. Maybe adoption but I doubt it. But I don't think a person is ready to be a parent untill they are done being a child themselves and I don't see 18 being old enough. Maybe 22 + Preferably after they manage to figure themselves out and have a career. Mid-to-late twenties probably would be better. But that's just me.
